Nope. A lot of the members here joined as kids - quite a few are still around.

He sure has. I get all sorts of odd IMs from him at odd hours of the day (sigh, time zones.)

but those are gossipy stories for a /query. [Wink]

at any rate Jace likes pretty and shiny things... and all the other women in this place are now threatened for attention... and... er...

welcome?

Wait. What's that supposed to mean. 1: She's 16. Too young for me. 2: I...I... I've got nothing. I like shiny.
lighten up, Cpl. It's just jokes.
I just think its funny where "you're pretty." remarks have gotten you in the past, even if you weren't the one saying them... [evil]

Hehe! I'm twice your ages, you wippersnappers! (That's so weird!!!! I was sure, when I was fifteen, that I'd be dead by thirty. Now I hardly feel old at all- 'cept when I go to a dance club.)

You will know you are old when you start worrying if you look young enough to get into clubs! [Frown]

'swhat I'm talkin' about! I'm starting to look strange with those little electrical-tape exes on my nips where it used to be hot. The trousers are still tight, but now I only wear tight mesh shirts in my bad dreams. Fortunately, you're never too old for kinky-boots.

At least my Peter Pan tights still fit. That's something.

My... Whatever do you mean!?!?!

And that Cpl might just be a Sgt here next month. I'm crossing my fingers that the board selects me. Now the trick is to find me a woman to call me "Sergeant O" in bed [evil]

Shiny is good and I do believe that I was 16 when I joined this place.

Do the doctors recommend that you dance at your age?

No, should we be?

Geekdom doesn't start (or end) at your 16th, 18th, or 21st birthday. There is a fair-sized group of teenagers here. They (the ones that stick around, anyway) contribute plenty to the conversation, more than many people who are ostensibly adult are able to. It's not MySpace.

And people stick around for a while.
