Hi, I'm new to GeekCulture (forums), however have been an active Joy of Tech reader for over 9 months (ever since the Intel announcement), and just decided that it was about time I registered. I'm an active PHP programmer, full-time student, and I've got a lot of other things that I do in my free time.

/me continues down the list of questions in the forum description
I made my nick up as sort of a combination of words--it's a combo between "webmaster" and "mac". I don't know where I got the 87. [Razz] Actually, my username will celebrate its 2-year anniversary in about a month. [Smile]

My website, Webmacster87.info (OMG...A .info Domain! Help!), which does feature the JoT Thumbnail. [Smile]

I lost my picture somewhere, sorry. [Razz]

I hate cell phones, I don't own nor want an iPod at all, and my dream computer is a MacBook Pro.

Anything I need to learn/know about the site?

--------------------
Phew, I finally registered on here.

Welcome to the forums. To answer the question in your sig, custom avs are reserved for the Superfans. Feel free to join up to get one along with all the other benefits of Superfandom. [Smile]

Welcome to the forums. Pull up a chair & chill out, the cosmic bong is on its way round [crazy]

Re: The avatars, yeah, I know that, it's more of a rhetorical type question. I just don't have the $$$ to commit to SuperFandom; I need to replace my clamshell iBook first.

Flashfire: Oh no, not another person who's going to nag me. [Razz] [Wink]

As I mentioned, I don't have the funds at the moment to support Nitrozac and Snaggy in super-fandom, but I thought I'd share my would-be avatar with everyone:
