Maybe it's post-installing new hardrive fatigue, or post Christmas/NP stress relief [Wink] , or S.A.D. (but it's been sunny here) ... but gee, I'm sooooo tired lately. [tired]

Anyone else having trouble recovering from December? Got the winter blues?

Got any tips?

When you get out of bed.

... do 20 pushups...

... do 10 supine bicycles (4-count exercise, on some kind of pad so it doesn't bother your back)

... go take your shower.

Last week I ran 2 miles in 13:56 ..... a long ways from a 4-minute mile. [Razz]

Hey, I can't be old, because I can still do more consecutive push-ups than I have years of age. And yes, it's more than 20. [Smile]

Yes, I think I have S.A.D. Every winter I sleep more and feel tired. The sunlight in winter doesn't matter, it usually isn't consistant enough. I wish there was sunlight 24 hours a day, but then places where that occurs, it's cold .

I do have the winter blues a bit, but I was put on a CPAP just before Christmas to deal with sleep Apnea. So depending on how much the mask gives me on any given night, I wake up tired [tired] , or I may be bright and cheerful when I wake up (made it all night with the mask in place) [Big Grin] . Hopefully I will get used to the mask, and get a good night's sleep every night.

I'm still trying to catch up being tired from Christmas due to being up 2-4 hours a night with asthma-like symptoms due to my mold allergy. [crazy]

I've got a really good puffer now, so I've been able to sleep through every night, and I've been pushing myself to stick to an exercise schedule. Doctor's Orders!

I noticed that the FreshAir picture has (c) 1999 on it......

So are you two going to walk around taking more local pictures?

I know you have to have a good digital camera. [Wink]

Sometimes when I know I'm not going to get anything done (because I'm sitting around staring at the walls and there's no new [Non-SPAM] e-mail), I take a short walk. This usually ends up being at night.

I find that if I don't actually go to bed I don't wake up tired [Big Grin]

But, for those times I do sleep, my routine is to drag my sorry butt out of bed, make coffee, get everyone out of the house, read email through my caffine buzz and then work out for 20-40 minutes around 11am. Then I feel perky the rest of the afternoon. Since I started working out regularly, I find I have much more energy (even on my average of 6.5 hours a night sleep) than I used to.

Even if the day isn't terrible, it might just not be sunny enough. For me to get my daily dose of vitamin E, I just steal Norm's (that would be my snake) sun lamp and point it at myself while I sit in a chair and read. It does me a world of good.

If I sleep too long, kills my back and I take forever to get awake. Strategic napping seems to work better for me - sure seems to work for my cats.

Thanks- it's a picture of the guy who keeps getting hair in my keyboard. He's watching me right now because he's convinced it's time for a snack.
