According to distributed.net, the RC5-64 challenge was solved and they have moved on to the RC5-72 challenge.. Sadly enough, looks like most of the geekculture.com team was left behind.

You can go to www.distributed.net to get the details and the new client. I am looking forward to have other members helping out.

At first, follow the rules of the game.
If you don't succeed, break the rules.
If you still don't succeed, change them.
If you still don't succeed, just change the game.
And if it still doesn't work...

Yes, the RC5-72 clients started trickling out a few weeks ago. I updated my systems pretty soon after that (since, fortunately, all my systems are fairly common platforms -- x86/Linux, x86/OpenBSD, x86/Windows; I don't run the client on the HP-UX systems at work).

I don't join any teams, though. I'm a lone wol^H^H^H cat.
