WTF?!?! I got an internship at a local gaming company who is putting on this game con in about a month and I have had 3 people today crack jokes about me being a booth babe at the confernece- WTF?!?

Do I have a sign on my forehead which says "stupid blonde chick without any aspirations but to be a booth babe?"

I did not go to college to work my ass off only to be told I should be a booth babe-- [Roll Eyes]
why cant I be taken seriously? [ohwell]

If it was written on your forehead, they'd never see it.

It must be written across your chest. [evil]

You're an intern, so you get the prize job.

Becasue you haven't made them yet. It takes time, especially if you're a chick in the boy's club.

But is being appreciated for your looks better than not being appreciated at all?

At least you know what you really want; that's more than most people can say [Wink] .

[Frown] Yeah, well - how about some consideration, huh? Some of us would dearly love to be a booth babe - but can't afford the operation - and fashion dictates that trans-gender bimbo-ism isn't acceptable. So, you may ask, what's a girl^H^H^Huy to do? [Frown]

It all depends on what conference you're at. It would be perfectly acceptable at a Transvestite Porno con or a Rocky Horror Picture Show con. Look on the bright side Spungo! Explore your options! [Wink]

*shrug* It could just be that they were making a harmless joke and complimenting you with no harm intended. If that wasn't the case... well, they'll learn to wear a cup to work after the first few kicks.
