Hey! FIRST POST! Next week, I´m gonna order da shirt!

Seems that there are some TTBs in Belgium, and some appreciators. Well, at least one of each. And it does really sound like a romantic thing. Damn, I should have posted it in "all about love".

Being a Mac user, life as regards viruses is pretty decent, and my work PC has got off pretty lightly so far (nothing serious), thus, virus writers don't make me irate like I might be were I one of those people whose home PCs have come under attack from something particularly nasty.

More than anything, that story is depressing really... just a reminder of what lows people go to in order to obtain their highs. Moreover, someone like Gigabyte has such a lot of wasted potential, just imagine what she could achieve were her mind and efforts turned to something more productive.

Yes, it's a sweet tale of romance, sure, but also quite heavily tained by the reality that she is, after all, just a low-life person desiring to mess with others' lives.

A pity, really.

Hmm, you know a relationship isn't off to a good start when you're worrying what viruses your girlfriend is going to give you

Ah, Hemel... I know of that place, been there many times in years gone by. I see buses to/from Hemel every day. In fact, the girl I mentioned in the MISSION GEEKY/Carpe Geekium posts lives in Hemel or somewhere thereabouts, and gets said buses. It's also where Xara are, or were (never did manage to get Xara Studio, British rival app to Corel Draw (looked pretty nice in the review I read back in 1994 or so); Corel bought them up).

If I ever go there again (most unlikely), I must also make a point of checking out the Apple dealers, go play with all the new Macs =) Get my first taste of Mac OS X...

I haven't spotted any Apple dealers in the town itself. I usually go into London

According to MacUser (as of when I checked months ago), there are at least two AppleCentres somewhere in Hemel Hempstead, unless I'm rather mistaken. They're not along any of the main rows of shops that I've ever noticed in the past, so maybe they're just out of the way somewhere.

Ooh... I went to Hemel Hempstead on a School trip once... many years ago... lovely chalk escarpments, nearby. IIRC, the town has a river through the middle of it... quite perty. Nice little old town as well...
