That reminds me of a series of jokes a classmate told me in the 12th grade:

Why did the koala fall out of the tree? Because he was dead.

Why did the second koala fall out of the tree? Because he was dead too.

Why did the third koala fall out of the tree? Peer pressure.

Why did the kangaroo die? Because of the falling koalas.

Why did the fridge fall out of the tree?
It thought it was a koala.

Why did the kid fall off his bike? Someone threw a fridge at him.

I first heard that kind of joke (almost identical) from a classmate of my brother's.  It seems like the kind of joke that you use to gauge how drunk your buddies are; if the crack up, you know they've sacrificed a few neurons to the Beer Gods (and may be offering something to the Porcelain God later).

I can't help it, I like stupid jokes. I love the frayed knot joke, and the interrupting cow.

I give. I'm familiar with the frayed knot (and many, many other bad pun jokes), but not the interrupting cow.

I would tell it, but it has to be verbal.

It is worth it though, it is stupid enough to draw groans of agony from even the most tolerant of people.

I suppose I could do that, but I would have to find someone to do it with me.
