Ocean Colour Scene - The Day We Caught The Train

not so much listening to it as kind of jumping up and down in my swivel chair and sending my books flying in various directions around the school library. Man, that bridge... woo! Another song I love quite more than I can say.

thanks to spike...

i see some of you here are a bit young, so i'll tell ya richard nixon was the president of the united states, and he liked to record stuff, and you can imagine, in a time before vcrs and radios, this man was CLEARLY AHEAD OF HIS TIME! And then the trouble came when someone decided to actually play back the tapes!

MacMan! Whoo! Flogging Molly! You're a good person for it, you know that? You've just nearly reached saintly status from that.

Listening to Blur-- Tender again. Probably the second time today...

And the rain outside.

Pink Floyd-Wish you were here.

Favorite floyd joke:
6 year to 12 year old: Do you know what sex is?
12 year old: Yeah I do. Its when mommy and daddy listen to pink floyd and jump up and down on the bed.

[Big Grin] Major ego inflation!

I'm listening, again, intently to the music, once again, inside my head, that being....

Flogging Molly - What's Left of the Flag

{Sways slowly back and forth in chair}
His eyes, they closed
and his last breath spoke,
he had seen all to be seen.
His life, once full,
now an empty vase,
with the blossoms of his early grave.

Walk away, me boy, walk away, me boy,
and by mornin' we'll be free.
Wipe a golden tear from your mother dear
and raise what's left of the flag for me.

(sorry for any misheard lyrics..) [Big Grin]

Dang it.. now I can't wait for that Flogging Molly CD to arrive!

Listening to Bruce Springsteen, Secret Garden. rather good song. reminds me of places and people and ducky conversations.

Flogging Molly -- Salty Dog

From their other album, Swagger. A rather sea-shantyish sort of song.

I rather like that Springsteen song, sky.

And it's raining.

One should never dance about in the rain unless one has a good cloak, or knows someone who does.

Weezer - Love Explosion

very true.

I rather think so as well.

Listening to nothing but the sound of various insects outside my window. Think I'll play some Blur...
