But I don't mind the rain. Not today. A friend of mine is coming to visit. So it can rain all it wants - I don't care.

Anyway, I remembered that I might've forgotten to introduse myself waaaay back when I started posting here. (yes I know I've been away for some time now - things've been busy - 'nuff said, it's my so-called social life) So, to get to my point;

My name is Lótiel, which is elvish for my given name. I go by the name of Nemo - because that's how people see me from time to time, as a nobody - I'm 21 years, 3 months and 9 days old.
I work at my school as an assistant - which is kinda fun because I get to do alot of strange things - and I study library- and information science, but I'm not sure if that's what I want to work with.
I love a good horrormovie, although there seem to be few good ones out there these days, and have a thing for animations.
What else... Oh yeah, I'm 168 cm short, brown hair and black/blue eyes.

And that's just about all.

Welcome back! You have been missed. I was just thinking about you the other day and wondering what happened to you.I came to the conclusion that you were madly in love and had no time for these forums anymore.

It's called the dry season.

We finally got some rain out here in upstate NY. About frickin' time. Being from western WA and all that three weeks of solid sunshine was making me anxious.

Come on people it doesn't rain continuously in this part of the world. We get to have a real sunny summer for a few weeks each year. In fact it's too bloody hot here right now. Monday at 8:00pm it was 31C (88F) in my bedroom and it took until 2:30am for me to get the temperature down to something comfortable enough for sleep. Today is better, it's 1:30am and the temperature in here is quite comfortable so I'll be off to bed as soon as I hit Submit Reply. I don't really mind this little heat wave, it's only hot for a few days each year.

Nice to see you back Nemo. My name here is also Elvish, but isn't based not on my RL name. Bregalad is a 'real' resident of Middle Earth.

I've mentioned it before but I might as well refresh my personal info for all the newbies. Yes you guys who've posted over 400 messages in just two months are still newbies, just incredibly prolific ones.

I'm male, 34 years 10 months old, and 175cm tall which is average for my age, sex and ethnic background. My hair and eyes are both an interesting mix of browns. Right now my forearms and neck are also quite brown from playing outdoor sports, but the rest of me is rather white. Unlike many of you here I dislike horror flicks and have little interest in anime.

I own and use both Macs (8 ranging in age from the dual 800k floppy drive SE to a dual processor G4) and Windows based PCs (2 Celerons and an AthlonXP). I'm surrounded by computers at work too as I do QA for a software company. KVM switches are your friends

If you've followed my writing here you'll no doubt have seen several references to a long distance relationship. She has been my best friend for most of the last 5 years. Some time in mid-late 2003 she should be able to move so we take take "long distance" out of our relationship.

That's it. Bed time for me.

*sigh* nice to know I'm still thought of as a relative newbie, though I admit I am still quite new...but then, most of my posts have had at least some point to them, except for a few more recent ones, which have come about as a result of my boredom combined with an inability to sleep...oh well, I guess I'll go read a few more pages of online journals and then try and hit the hay...

Hi everybody!

Spungo; Nope, didn't know that Norway was such a good country to live in - I tend to not read newspapers or watch the news for long periods of time.

Snupy; Maybe not madly in love, but not far from it. But I have managed to find a cute little geek - he's half american actually.

TwinkleToes; It's easy! My friend, ahem, boyfriend, no, friend found some links the other day. Try these;

www.uib.no/People/hnohf/elfnam.htm

www.elvish.org/elm/names.html

So, we're Lótiel and Carnilio!

If you really want to know more, TT, send me a mail and ask me. Maybe I'll give you Carnilio's URL... if you ask nicely.

Brengalad; I remember the name from LotR! Mine isn't there... but that kinda makes it special.

Anything else?!
