Knowing how much everyone loves flamewarz over grammar, I thought I'd point out that "Steve Jobs's calendar' would properly be spelled "Steve Jobs' calendar", without the added 's'. You may now flame me. ;-D

Frederick Brooks (Author of 'The Mythical Man Month'): I happily use a Macintosh. It's not been equalled for ease of use, and I want my computer to be a tool, not a challenge.

My last name ends in a "s", and I much prefer the Chicago style of the "s's".

If you watch 'The History Of NASA' backwards, it's about a space agency that has no manned spaceflight capability, then does low-orbit flights, then lands on the Moon.

Actually, not so much. The generally accepted rule is that, even with words and names that end in S, the rule is to add 'S to make a plural except when the extra syllable makes pronunciation awkward (i.e. use houses' mailboxes rather than houses's mailboxes).

I went through this when I went to college. I had also been taught to use only the apostrophe with words ending in S. My college English professor pulled out a copy of The Elements of Style and explained that my high school teachers were stupid.
