Well...this JoT just led me to be a little more educated, and to seek out more information:
http://www.mercurynews.com/columns/ci_17320319

I knew about AOL buying Huffington Post, but I had no idea that Arianna was going to become the head of all that stuff...including Michael Arrington/TechCrunch. That last bit puts a silly grin on my face, as by all measures, he's a supreme schmuck. I pay so little attention to him and his website that I didn't realize he sold out to AOL last fall. I do follow Engadget from time to time, at the recommendation of a friend of mine, but I was oblivious to the spat between TC & them.

Thanks, N+S, for bringing me up to speed on the latest in tech news! [Smile]

I don't know what to mak of A.H.

on one hand she is self made, on the other, I really don't care for the type of reporting publishd ( or republished) on the site that made her famous. SH likes hollywood clebs and wants to be one. SHe does, how many other newspaper editors ( or web news site editors) can you name. Who is the chief editor at teh NYT, a much more famous newspaper and website. You can't name him/her because this person thinks thier job is to report news, not be famous?

ps this is as good of place as any to apologize for the lack of letters in my posts, especially the E, my laptop's keyboard has really been sticking lately, despite the recent cleaings. Hate to buy a nw laptop over a keyboard though.

Thanks dragonman! Heh, couldn't resist a mash-up of those three characters.

For some reason, I kinda like Arianna Huffington. I guess my first impression of her was an actually impression, by Tracey Ullman, which I thought was hilarious. And anyone who says we all need more sleep is OK in my books. [tired]
