Hi cheezi .
Nice of you to reinterpret my quote . I don't think I made that direct analogy (I'm pretty sure someone else said that exact thought), though I did draw plenty of other related correlations to technology advances .

I have just 2 words:
Virtual Boy.
(For those who are not hard-core game geeks, or *gasp* too young, the Virtual Boy was Nintendo's foray into 3-D gaming...it consisted of huge goggles and a weirdo glove-thing. The games were displayed in only one color, red. You couldn't play for more than 5 minutes without getting a headache, or feeling like a complete git. Needless to say, it didn't do too well...)
On another note -- E3 in 2 weeks! Yay!

I LOVE VIRTUAL BOY! I still have one actually, I think i will go blow the dust off it.
But you're very correct about the git/headache thing. The red doesn't do to well with my eyes and the glove wasn't too comfortable.

Heh, and if you wore it too long you either saw everything as a shade of red, or you couldn't see the colour red at all. That must be safe.
