Now that we have a cat that seems to think the whole reason we put down a bowl of water is so that it can be spalshed all over the floor, and another cat that expects there should be water to actually drink, we need one of these.

I just love projects that mix geek and cat.

I kept tripping over my cats water and food bowls because the cats like to push them around the kitchen. So what I did was I got one of those microwave carts and left the wheels off then attached 4 strips of wood around the edge. About 3/4 of an inch high so they couldn't push them off and they are off the floor so I couldn't trip over them. Well my cats think they are funny or don't like to eat/drink off there and prefer the floor because they still knock the bowls off.

The scientific explanation of that is the "cats push things just to watch them fall" theory.
