Many have seen this text on electronic devices:

“This device complies with part 15 of FCC Rules.

1) This device may not cause harmful interference.

2) This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.”

Well that jumped up and bit me on the "sitterdowner" this weekend. I bought an indoor/outdoor thermometer for use here at the hilltop. I figured that the two meter radios would mess with the signal from the outside unit. NNNOOOOOOOOoo not that, the two meter radios did not cause any trouble at all however the Cell/MiFi sure as heck caused trouble. Turn on the MiFi and the displayed temp started going up until it showed 158 deg. shut off the MiFi and about five hours later the temp. indication would be correct.

They do not even operate in the same bands.

Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.
