I've been reading about the Saxon treasure found in Staffordshire area and wish I could go and see it. Is anyone in the UK going to the Birmingham Museum to see it? I know it will be sold so it may be the only chance to see it all together.

IIRC, all archaeological 'treasure' found in the UK must be sold to the state, at a price assessed by independent valuers, so they're likely to be kept together.

I had read that it was considered property of the nation, but didn't know if it might end up in separate museums just because of the value and raising the money. Those are some good snaps.

It's "hoard."

"Horde" is something different.

What can I say the spelling goes after the third muscle relaxer. Sorry. But if you give me enough grief, I'll have to round up some mongols and hunt you down. [Smile]
