Technically, the FCC prohibits tele-marketers from autodialing cell phone numbers. Even so, I've lately had several incoming calls from unknown numbers in odd area codes. At least one of them, which I accidentally answered, was an automated recording trying to sell me a car warranty.NY Senator Chuck Schumer has apparently called for an investigation into similar calls.

In any event, I put my cell number on the Do Not Call list just to cover my bases.
