Scientist Hawking ill in hospital

According to Cambridge University, Stephen Hawking is very ill and undergoing tests at a hospital in Cambridge.

I can't say this is a surprise. It's a miracle he's lived as long as he has. ALS is brutal. Still, this is sad news.

I was just about to post this. I wouldn't be surprised if we lose him this time. Respiratory infections can be nasty. I hope he manages to pull through.

Saw this on the news at work. I'd heard he was ill through the Caius grapevine, but not that ill. It's kind of expected though - as Xanthine said, it's amazing I think even to him that he's lasted this long [Frown]
