Some of you know I've been going through the immigration process to move to Sweden to be with maswan. (Well, those that frequent IRC. And for those of you looking for love at GC, we met in #aftery2k.)
I got my temporary (2 year) residence permit in the mail today! w00t!

Excellent!
I was wondering how this was going. Of course I probably could have found ou just by showing up on IRC but now I know. ![[Smile]](smile.gif)

Oh what, you can actually go live there right now? Goodness, either that came early or time has gone supersonic; I didn't realise it was this soon. It's good news anyway (wooo) but superduper news if I'm not crazy and it's sooner than I thought (Probably isn't)

Nope, it's sooner. I was anticipating it taking 8 or 9 months and it was about 6. ![[Smile]](smile.gif)

Not sure exactly, at this point. Maybe the end of August, maybe a little later. It also depends on how we decide to handle bringing the dog and cat, whether we kennel them here until they can travel or I stay until they are ready. I'm leaning toward the former at this point, since I'll be able to leave earlier than expected.

Yeah, they live in the kitchen and I took that picture earlier. The big one (maswan) only went and fell in the bloody sink though! The little one (siggy) has disappeared now, probably spooked by all the attention and me taking pics and hiding in the dark somewhere.
Now, do correct me if I'm wrong, but they're not the same species (clearer in some of the other pictures). If they're both adults, they're both women, so I have an interracial lesbian arachnid love nest in the kitchen. One or both could be a juveline (and not fully developed) male though; certainly, maswan is only half his potential adult size or less.
I have no idea what they're up to in that corner but they're cute. Not as pretty as your photo though, what is it, an argiope?

Brilliant news, many congratulations, it sounds like an excellent adventure. That Maswan is one lucky fellow. I wish you both all happiness!
