I actually got some spam inviting me to participate in this a few weeks ago. I didn't realize they had a website. I think I'll stick with public transportation as my way to reduce global warming.

Now that's something else. Jump on the planet in order to shift the orbit. [Roll Eyes]

On a related unscientific note. I have a patron who believes the moon landing footage is all a hoax along with the other space explorations. [Big Grin] It was all done to keep the "commies" in line.

Well at least then the Russian's actually went into space and had a probe land on the moon while American's didn't.

I'm trying to organize a counter-jump that will take place about 2 seconds after the initial jump, thus putting the earth BACK into its normal orbit.

Humanity will be saved from these revolutionary jumpers.

So who's with me!??! [crazy] [ohwell]

I was just thinking. If everybody in the world jumped at the same time. Wouldn't it not affect anything since there is an equal amount of force exherted around the globe?

Alternatively, the world would implode under the pressure (ha!), or one side of the earth has a greater population density so would have a greater force than the rest of the land?

I'm getting way ahead of myself here. [Razz]

So how are six hundred million people planning to jump hard enough to reach escape velocity?

If I am not mistaken, this would be the only way (theoretically) to actually transfer any force. [Razz]
