This guy at Our Hobbit Hole.Com is building a real Hobbit Hole! From all the info it appears to be legit. I saw it on theonering.net yesterday.

Is it just me? Or does the word "Legit" actually mean the opposite in most cases?

And I would also like to help the cap'n hold these peoples money. I'll even invest it for you guys. [evil]

lol, great idea Cap'n and Mac D!

Come to think of it, if you guys find holding all that money is too much trouble, you can always send it to Geek Culture Headquarters and Nitro and I will pile it up, put it on the webcam, and play in it like hobbits. [Big Grin]

We could invest it in Geek Culture.

That reminds me. Every one should get themselves something for x-mas, Yule, Kwanza or whatever it is people celebrate and a great gift idea would be a membership on Geek Culture. 10% off at the store and you could get to be in the comic. Possibly use them as holiday cards. [Wink]

I think it is a grand idea to build a hobbit hole.
But darn if I'm going to help someone else build it without anything in return.

Now if in exchange for the $$ you got blueprints / technical drawings or something that would be different. Maybe an invitation to the housewarming?

I don't know about the 'hobbit holes' ( [Roll Eyes] ) but I Have heard of homes built into the earth . They are supposedly very energy efficient. [crazy] [Happytears]

The complete phrase is "scraping the bottom of the barrel." Hmm... anatomically speaking, what IS the bottom of the butt? [Confused]

The landlord probably wouldn't appreciate the dirt he'd have to haul in for the walls. A better choice would be to live in a root cellar. [Razz]
