Goodness I love that sport. If you want to call it a sport. I duno does it have to be officialy a coligit sport in order to be a sport... Anyway I consider it a sport. I know that I run more in a game of ultimate than I ever did in soccer or any other sport for that matter. So it is physicaly demanding. There are totaly set up plays that get run on a regular basis and hybrids of these so there is the strategic element as well. I think I have fallen for this sport. It is a great way to get me off my duff and burn off a few of these extra calories that I have accumulated over the past few months.
Anyway I have been playing since about the time I stopped posting here last summer. No connection but there were lots of changes in my life around that time. I play in Boise, Idaho so if you are in the area let me know and I will gladly hook ya up with a game. Or I will set up an impromptu lan game if that is more your cup oh tea.
Back to Ultimate. I am happy because I was in a hat tournament (everyone puts their names in a hat and then teams are randomly drawn) and my team won. We won because there was a group of us that had played together for about 6 months that happened to get on the same team. It was realy unfair to one of the teams we played against. The other teams were as good or better, in the talent area, but was generaly the first time they had played together. Well anyway that is my news for the day.

Yes!! Ultimate is the best sport ever. It seems like many people who aren't into sports love to play frisbee.

Anything with "Ultimate" in the title has got to be good if not the best.

Ah, yes, well, you see, the thing is, I made this comment before I looked at her profile. Immediately before, I think. All apologies to Supergoo.

It fills me with pride to see such roar enthusiasm for a punfest.

My old flatmate was of quality high enough to play Ultimate for the UK (not much of an achievement, as not a lot of people play(ed back then). Anyway, I learnt a bit back then.
I always fancied having a go at golf myself, but I have only ever seen one course.

Ok, the puns may get a bit tiresome after a while, but what can I do? It's just the kind of guy I am. A leopard can't change it's spots.
