A friend sent me this and as I read the article, I initally failed to notice the title of the website and for a few fleeting moments thought it was actually real...

A friend, eh. And I supposed a "friend" has been taking all those great shots of spiderman catching villians, too!

Good thing that's not true, because my friend and I are going to see it at 1930 today, and she's already got tickets.

<flamebait>Am I the only one that thought Spiderman 1 was moderately overrated, and has no real interest in seeing part two?</flamebait>

I thought it blew goat too. I don't wanna see a love story. I wanna see Spidey flying around catching bad guys.....with maybe a little T&A and senseless violence thrown in for good measure.

<rant>

Spiderman is plastered on every product seemingly for no reason. My 3 year old saw some 'Spiderman' popcicles when we were shopping the other day. He is saying " Daddy, can we buy these?"

It was a fucking box of popcicles with a pic of Spidermans's face on the box so it costs more than the same popcicles without the pic. Arrrrrrrrrgggh!!

I thought spiderman was way better than attack of the clones.

I do agree that the marketing for spiderman 2 is out of control.
