Well, Nervana [sic] is no one.

Nirvana is...well, awesome. [Smile]

It also just hit me that a) Kurt's probably not your cup of tea (RIP), and b) I wonder if today's young ones are asking the same question?

Wasn't he Dave Grohl's Dad? (In case you young people are wondering who Dave Grohl was, he was a major Civil War figure, as in the famous line: "as Flora MacDonald said to Dave Grohl at the Battle of Midway, 'don't tase me, Bro!' " )

Face it, dman, we're old. What was cool is no longer cool. On the bright side, Nirvana has *almost* reached "retro" stage.

*sigh* That's not really a bright side...

No. It's not.

I considered asking the undergrads in my lab if they were familiar with Nirvana, but then I decided I just don't want to know.

Nervana

Damn you, Steen, sending me to _that_ site. [Razz]
(Then again, it was originally meant for this, not the tripe of the mid-noughties.)

I think my simplest critique† of them is: He sounds too happy, and the production is too good/clean. It's just not Nirvana, but I guess that was already well established by the typo. :/

† Based on "Heart Shaped Box."
