Quick question about converting video to play on my iPhone. The videos are mp4 and avi and not from iTunes. I bought VidualHub a couple of years back and love, love, love it - great program and nicely designed, but I think it may be discontinued? - anyway, it takes forever. Like, hours.

As far as I know, there is no way to quickly convert video. Am I right? The average file that I'm converting is roughly 700MB.

Thanks!

Handbrake is good for video conversion, and it's free.

Sadly, yes.

One nice thing about Handbrake is it has a conversion queue, which makes the slowness far less annoying, queue half a dozen videos and go to bed, they're ready the next morning.

____ The big Television Networks have an on the fly converter for live feeds, from other vidio source feeds. My quess is very expensive. (pure unobtanium) and I believe it is hardware.

I've used a couple of programs called WinX DVD Ripper Platinum and WinX HD Video Converter Deluxe to convert DVD and other video files for iPhone use. They worked, whereas I could never get Handbrake or other solutions to work right.

Handbrake works great for me.

If I'm bittorrenting, Vuze now does this automatic conversion for Apple TV which is nice.
